I have been enjoying the mixture of work & opportunities that I'm having. My community health work is going from strength to strength, i'm enjoying my coaching work and also my tarot readings means I get to meet some wonderful people. Thank you!

I have become increasingly busy and less good at updating my blog! I cant believe its July already!

Its been a busy but successful year so far and im looking forward to my further opportunities, challenges & achievements  :-)  One such challenge was the Vitality Show in March. It was both challenging & exhilarating and I learned a lot as it was the first time I had exhibited at such a big Show. A major acheivement!

Im constantly looking out for websites where I can get a daily dose of positivity delivered! The most recent one is www.innerspace.org.uk    where you can sign up for the daily thought of the day and have it delivered to your email inbox. They also do some great courses on mediation and positive thinking amongst others. They don't charge for their courses but prefer voluntary donations.

This was my first solo Workshop and it went really really well which makes me very proud. I felt the fear and did it anyway! The Workshop was held at the Beyond Centre which is a modern and bright venue off Seven Sisters Road, near Manor House Tube Station in North London.

 A mixture of different women attended and we covered sessions such as; Eliminating limiting self beliefs, Planning Your Success, Preparing for Success, Using Visualisations & Affirmations for Manifestation, Action Planning/ Goal Setting and Next Steps.  We all had a great time and many good discussions about positivity as we worked through the sessions which challenged yet enlightened the attendees.

This Workshop was a repeat of the Workshop held on the 25th April covering relationships. This session was very well attended and also had a record number of men who attended too!  Its always interesting to note that although the same topic is covered, different issues may be discussed due to the different participants who attend.

The topic was Relationships and Looking Beyond Our Differences. I really enjoyed this one as relationships are always a hot topic!

Patricia did her presentation on love and money and the issues that surrounds it. Bella did her presentaton on the challenges of communication within relationships, and I presented on how to let go of what you dont want in relationships and get what we need.  This was a great interactive session with lots of input from the participants.

Our first Saturday Workshop held in Leyton!  (7th March 3.30- 5pm).  This was in response to a survey sent out to Fitness First members.  Overwhelmingly the feedback recieved was that members surveyed wanted to attend a Workshop held on a Saturday afternoon at the Fitness First in Leyton Mills, Leyton.

We discussed a few meaty topics as usual;

Patricia presented a session 'How to finally love yourself'.
Bella Marie presented a session on Body Confidence: How you See and Portray Yourself: the importance of personal image and how to make sure its working for us.
And I presented a session, 'Get your Mojo back and Open up to Life'

This event was fun as always and well attended by people who chose to devote a part of their Saturday to self development-so well done and a big THANK YOU to all those who attended.

The theme for this Workshop was 'Your Knockout Workout', held at Fitness First High Holborn. Topics covered were:

The topic this time was 'Be Beautiful Inside and Out!'  As usual the Workshop was hosted by Patricia Bejamin, Life Coach and Speaker. 

Our discussions included:
What is real beauty? This was an open discussion on loving your body. I gave a presentation on body confidence and 10 top tips for feeling great.                                                                                       Bella-Marie (Confidence Coach and Personal Trainer), covered the topic, 'Is your Beauty more than skin deep?'   and lastly Preeti (from Benefit Cosmetics) did a Make up demonstration.

I love these workshops and always look forward to the next one.  A big thank you to all who attended.

This was the second of our Workshops and was well attended with around 20+ women joining us for fun and information.

Merline joined us to tell us about her weight-loss journey  which was very informative. She has promised to keep us updated on her progress during the rest of her journey. We also had a make-up demonstration from Preeti (well done!) and sessions from Patricia, Bella and myself. Personal Trainer Heather spoke about making exercise fun instead of a chore.

This was our first Positive Body Image Workshop which was run in conjunction with Patricia Benjamin of Capital Life Coaching.  It was an exciting fun-packed evening (the workshop lasts around 2 hours) with around 10 women joining us to enjoy a laid back interactive and informative evening covering topics such as:

1 How to develop body confidence and learn positive body language
2 Get confident in the gym
3 Learn ways to beat stress
4 All your exercise and nutrition questions/dilemmas answered
5 Tips on beauty, makeup and fashion that suits you and your shape from our experts

This dynamic event was held at Alexandra Palace, Muswell Hill, London-a brilliant venue with fantastic panoramic views.

The event itself had many positive messages and served as a refresher for me. There were many marketing messages interspersed with the positive messages, but considering the event was free this was one of the disadvantages (I enrolled via the internet-just google Breakthrough to Success and you will get lots of info on the seminar and how to enroll).

Chris Howard is a very inspirational speaker and was at his best when he was giving his own personal experiences of lessons he had learned in life. The event was also supported by a comprehensive booklet which contained all the info that had been covered in the Seminar and is great to refer to when needed.

The Seminar was a great place to network with some really nice people (hi Mena!).  The Seminar booklet contained a page where contacts names and numbers could be recorded which was really helpful.

If you havent been to many of these types of seminars its worth going to this-its free, has great supporting documents and the positive message is definately there, albeit surrounded by lots of marketing speil!

This was a general discussion between Dougie and me and we covered many topics on this programme within the slot from 11am-12.30pm.  We discussed topics such as The Secret-and how to apply the concepts of The Secret in practical terms, What is Love?, How to deal with the end of a relationship (Dougie intends to do more work around this topic so watch this space!), and personal development.  Dougie and I put the world to rights (or attempted to!) and hopefully I'll be joining him for more of these insightful programmes.

It was a pleasure as always to be invited onto Dougie Williams' Find Your Voice (FYV) programme, 10pm onwards.

The discussion was around Personal Development and what it means-it was great to have listeners phoning in to the station to give their views and opinions on personal development and what it means to them. The listeners also gave examples of how they had developed themselves, the influencial books they had read etc. It was very enlightening.

A big thanks to Dougie & Michael Mellows who was also a guest on the programme.

It was by chance that I met Patricia Benjamin (the organiser/host of the evening) on Facebook and got invited to this lively event. Patricia is a Life Coach (of Capital Life Coaching ) and holds these events quarterly in the City.  This particular event was held at DeSantis Wine Bar in Old Street.

The event, 'A Girls Night In' was seperated into 3 sessions:

1. The Introduction and Icebreaker where the ladies did short introductions of each other to the main group.

2. An Inspirational Chat with Patricia Benjamin on women realising our worth and investing time and money in ourselves-an activity for ourselves at least once a week and once a month was recommended.

3.Guest presenters who spoke on various topics, told their personal stories or read self-penned poetry

There was also a session by Donna Spence, an excellent comedienne.

All in all this was a fun and lively event that had us all laughing at times, or dabbing a tear from our eyes at other times. Especially touching was the 'thank you' session where women were encouraged to say thanks to friends, colleagues or family members that had supported them through difficult times or had lent a helping hand when it was most needed.

What was the highlight of the evening for me? The chocolate fountain of course! Mmmmmmm! Another highlight for me was being able to meet and network with some lovely ladies.

As usual this was a great event that was sponsored by Centreprise & SLR Radio.  I delivered my talk on 'The Secret' and have to give a big thanks to all those who stayed til the end of the event. My talk was held towards the end of the event (at 8.45pm) and I'm pleased to say that as always it was well attended.

Thanks to Flowers for inviting me on to the BBS (BEN Breakfast Show-Sky Channel 194) for my first TV appearance!

Flowers and I first met on her radio show on Milleneum Supreme Radio (9-11pm) on the 28th November. I spoke about positive thinking and The Secret and she was suitably impressed enough to invite me onto BBS.  My appearance went very quickly and seems like a bit of a blur, but what a rush! I am now begining to feel like a celebrity!

I throughly enjoy these events, mainly because I get to meet so many amazing people. A wide range of Workshops & talks (which generally last half an hour) took place with topics such as;

How to build successful relationships, Success University, How to get to where you're going, Writing your business plan and raising finance, Heal you life, Health & Self, Positive minds and communication........to name a few. 

I again did my talk on 'The Secret' based on the book by Rhonda Byrne which was well-recieved. It's always great to be able to spread the positive vibes to all who care to listen!  During my last talk I handed out blank cheques from the Bank of the Universe.  This time I went one better and handed out £million notes for all who attended to aid their visualisations of wealth and abundance.

A big thank-you goes out to all those who came to the event and made it a success. And again thanks to Dougie Williams who painstakingly organises these events.

Held at the Excel Centre in Docklands, 22-25 June 2007.

This was 4 Days of motivating, inspiring, target-setting, celebration of achievements and success to come and facing your fears seminar.  The highlight for me was the fire walk on the first day. When I had booked to go on the seminar I was in two minds, 'shall I do the fire walk? Yes or No?'  By the time Tony Robbins had motivated us prepared us for the fire walk we were all ready.  There was not a doubt in my mind that I couldnt do it. I think out of the 12,000 people there, there was not one person who didnt do the fire walk.

This was a real lesson for me about facing fear.  There are many times in our lives where fear stops us from trying something, from achieving greatness or fulfilling our potential. When it came to my turn to do the fire walk I knew I could do it and fear would not stop me. Now I feel that because I have walked on hot coals I can do anything! Did it hurt? No-I didnt feel the heat of the coals, all I felt was the crunchy sensation of the coals underneath my feet. Would I do it again? Yes, Yes, Yes!

I met a lot of nice people at the Seminar, some had travelled from other countries to be there, others like me had travelled within London or across England to be there, but we all left with a sense of major acheivement and an underlying message of positivity and eliminating limiting beliefs.

It is a bit pricey to go to a Tony Robbins seminar, but if you're using The Secret, you can practise manifesting the money you need to attend! It's well worth the expense.

I was delighted to be invited to speak at this wonderful event. It was held at The Happy People's Restaurant in Tottenham High Road, N15. on 10 June 2007, (Thanks to Dougie Williams for organising the event).

There were many speakers on the day covering many topics. There were a variety of topics, such as; three steps to success for life, the three myths of money, property wisdom, optimal skin care, from dreams to goals to achievement, personal development and how to build a successful relationships.

I had visualised that this event would be well-attended, and that my talk would also be well-attended.  There were many people in the main hall, so I knew that the speakers in the main hall had a good sized audience. My Workshop on The Secret took place in Workshop Room 2. 

At the beginning of my talk, there were only a few friends and my sister in attendance, then more people started to come into the room, then more and then even more people were coming into the Workshop Room to listen to me.  In the end I had to move the table which was at the front of the room back so that all could fit into the room.  I was so pleased that I had a good sized audience to listen to my message. 

The message about The Secret was well received, and I gave everyone who attended a Bank of the Universe cheque, and a Gratitude Page so that they could begin using the principles of The Secret as soon as they got home.

Held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre,15-18 March 2007

It was my first time in Canada, so it was great to combine work and a short break in such a lovely country.

I attended lectures by Sylvia Browne, Collette Baron-Reid, Marianne Williamson, Sonia Choquette, Doreen Virtue and Esther and Jerry Hicks.  The lectures covered a variety of topics such as; Soul Lessons and Soul Purpose-why are we here?, daily guidance from your angels, miracles of midlife, spiritual connections and how to read the messages of the Universe.

It was an excellent trip and I felt motivated and enthused to carry on my life coaching and personal development work and to pass on what I've learned to you.

Incidentally it was on this trip that I discovered and bought The Secret CD's which I listen to constantly on my travels.
