My Secret Experiences
I've had a few very positive experiences since I started using The Secret.......I consider these examples to be the begining of me using and developing my manifestation muscles. I imagine them being developed to be stronger and more able to manifest bigger things. Watch this space for developments!
Travel
I love to travel and have had the fantastic experience of being able to visit more & more places-much further afield than I would have ever imagined!
As stated in The Secret be clear about what it is you want. I declared and intended (say a statement out loud-prefereably when you're alone!) about what it is you want. For example, if you want more money say out loud, 'I would like £xxx unexpected income by August 2010'. (Or any date that you believe to be achievable or when you need the money by). Then believe its on its way and see what happens. If you feel uncomfortable about doing that start off with something small-like a cup of coffee or £5 or anything else you want-it of course doesnt have to be money.
So I intended that I would travel to 5 places this year (2010). I wasnt sure how I would do this, or even where I would go but I declared that this was what I wanted and did daily visualisions of myself on the plane. I started my initial declaration and visualisatons in January. To date (August 2010) I have travelled to 4 places internationally and have only paid for one of those trips (honest-and all legit!).
So dont be afraid to focus on what you want, declare it to the Universe, Visualise, and see what happens!
Money!
To my dismay my fridge/ freezer decided to quit working-i knew I was in trouble when I opened it and warm air came out! At the time I didnt have the financial funds to replace it. I decided I would visualise receiving money-I asked for enough money to be able to buy the fridge/ freezer outright, enough money for my rent and enough money to pay back my sister the money I had loaned from her. When I did my visualisations I 'saw' and affirmed a specific amount of money. I did my visualisations and affirmations every day for two weeks.
To my surprise within the following couple of weeks- on checking the balance of my bank account I was richer by a few thousand pounds! This was totally unexpected and I had not been told of the refund but the money had been deposited straight into my account. At first glance I thought a mistake had been made but on checking I learned that I was due to get this refund and the paperwork to support this was winging its way to me but hadnt gotten to me yet. This was a very pleasant surprise and was twice as much as I had asked for!
The School
We had chosen a 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice of schools that my daughter would be going to (shes starting secondary school in September).
I received a letter saying that I had gotten my 3rd choice of school, and couldnt help but feel disappointed about not being offered our first choice of school. I decided to use visualisation as a way of getting our first choice of school-I imagined a moving picture (like watching a film) of my daughter wearing the uniform of our 1st choice of school. I imagined her smiling and telling me how much she loves her new school.
Literally the following week I received a letter saying that we had been offered our 1st choice of school. In between recieving the letter saying we had been offered our 3rd choice of school I had been gettting ready to appeal against the decision and had asked the head of my daughters current junior school for his assistance in getting her a place at our 1st choice of secondary school. When I had received the letter, it was Thursday and I had to ring the head and cancel the appointment I had made with him for Friday to discuss the matter! I was so pleasantly surprised that my visualisation had reaped such benefits so quickly!
My Front Door
My poor front door had given up being slammed so many times over the years, the top hinges had come loose causing the door to not open or close properly without considerable effort. When the work men had come to the house to repair the door they told me that the door frame was rotten so the hinges/ screws wouldnt hold the door securely, so we still had to literally force the door close and prise it open to be able to use it, even after the workmen had been and gone. They told me the door had to be replaced as it could not be repaired.
I had received an appointment to have the door replaced for the 29th June. I tried to get an earlier appointment citing the difficulties with opening and closing the door as urgent. The workmen insisted that the very earliest appointment they could give me was 29th June. I visualised an appointment for the door to be replaced earlier than the 29th June so that we would no longer have to struggle to open and close it. Lo and behold I received a phone call around 2 weeks after this saying that they had an earlier appointment, and could they come on 19th June instead! I now have a brand new front door that has been replaced a week and a half earlier than my original 'urgent' appointment.
